You will find several eyelid surgery blepharoplasty before and after images below. Most patients have had both their lower and upper eyelids operated on. The changes can range from subtle to dramatic and you will see the full range of ‘average‘ results. When looking at the photographs it is important to note the position of the upper eyelids. The upper eyelids are often resting on the lashes (lid margin) in the preoperative images and the upper eyelid crease may not be visible. You should be able to see the differences in the post operative images.

Lower eyelid surgery is far more complex than upper eyelid surgery and you should look at the degree of fullness in the lower eyelids (eye bags) preoperatively and how this has been corrected (by removing fat). Additionally a small amount of skin is also removed and this can be noticed by a smoothness and reduction in creases of the lower eyelid.

The majority of our patients who have lower eyelid surgery also have fat transfer | fat grafting to reduce the depth of the tear troughs.
