About Mr Anderson
Training
Mr Anderson graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1992 and gained an MSc from University College London in 1999. He trained in plastic surgery in Scotland, with fellowships at a microsurgery centre in Taiwan and at the Dallas Children’s Hospital.
NHS practice
He has been an NHS consultant plastic surgeon in Edinburgh since 2008, treating adults and children, often with complex problems referred by other specialists. He leads the Laser Department at St John’s Hospital, runs a regional service for genitoperineal reconstruction and treats burns, trauma and skin cancer.
