Ms Ewa Majdak-Paredes

Training

Ms Majdak-Paredes graduated from the Medical University of Gdansk in 2000 and completed a PhD on hereditary breast and ovarian cancer through a Marie Curie fellowship at Leiden University Medical Centre. She then trained in plastic surgery for seven years in London, Dundee and Edinburgh, with subspecialty training in breast reconstruction in Chelmsford and the Edinburgh Breast Unit and an aesthetic surgery fellowship in Banff, Canada, sponsored by BAAPS.

NHS practice

She is head of the plastic surgery department at St John’s Hospital in Livingston and also works at the Western General Hospital and the Edinburgh Breast Unit. She is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and has published nearly 30 peer-reviewed articles.

At Quaba

At Quaba Ms Majdak-Paredes performs breast, body and eyelid surgery. She holds the Plastic Surgery Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and European Board certification (EBOPRAS), and is a full member of BAPRAS, BAAPS, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and EURAPS. She sees patients and operates at Waterfront Private Hospital in Edinburgh.
